The Rockcliffe Flying Club operates its own Maintenance Facility to serve its members, partner organizations, and owners throughout the National Capital Region.

The Rockcliffe Maintenance Facility is pleased to service all makes and models of private aircraft, and many models of commercial aircraft. Our team of AME’s and Apprentices provide diagnostic and consultation services, preventative maintenance, and repair services to keep your aircraft operating its best.

Although only in its third year of operation, the Rockcliffe AMO has become known throughout the National Capital Region for providing thorough, professional services at a fair price. Our team consistently goes above and beyond to help you make informed decisions and enable you to take charge of the maintenance on your aircraft.

Our Hours

Our regular hours are Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Weekend hours are available on an on-demand basis.

Our Rates

The hourly rate for members is $88.00 per hour and the rate for non-members is $95.00 per hour.

Our markup on parts varies based on their value, and we provide a fixed rate for Annual Inspections, beginning at $1300 for a typical single-engine piston aircraft. Complex, Retractable single and multi-engine rates will be provided on demand.

Our Services

Our services include but are not limited to:

  • Servicing piston, radial and turboprop engines
  • Major/minor aircraft modifications
  • Annual inspections (time control items, recertifications, ADs)
  • Aircraft pre-purchase inspections
  • Import/export inspections
  • Installation of avionics and ELTs

Our Team

Our team performs expert maintenance and consists of experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs) with extensive experience in the inspection and maintenance of light aircraft. Communication before and during the work on your plane is a priority for us. After your service, we will be requesting your feedback on your experiences so that we can continually improve.

Pat Giunta – Director of Maintenance
Pat is an AME (Aircraft Maintenance Engineer M1/M2). He has been with the Club for over three years. Prior to becoming the Director of Maintenance, he was our PRM (Person Responsible for Maintenance) of the Club’s fleet. Pat is fluent in both English and French.
