What it allows you to do
This course is designed for non-pilots who fly right seat occasionally or frequently, would like to understand what is going on, be helpful in the flight and be able to occasionally fly the airplane for short periods of time. This is an unofficial course offered by RFC and does not give any legal privileges.
Requirements
An interest in learing more about aviation.
The course will be offered in English, but instructors are bilingual and will answer questions in French or English.
Course Cost
The course consists in three groundschool sessions given at the Canada Aviation Museum once a week for three weeks and two flights with a RFC instructor. More details are provided in the Course Syllabus (note that dates and prices in that document are out of date).
The total program cost will be $399.00 plus applicable taxes including flight time in one of the club's aircraft. If you provide the aircraft, the cost will be less.

Flights will be individually scheduled with instructors.
The next session is scheduled for Saturday September 10th and September 24th from 9AM to 2PM.
