Background

The Rockcliffe Flying Club Safety Committee has been established to encourage safe flying and working practices at the Rockcliffe Flying Club. Safety must be an uppermost concern in all activities associated with the Club, whether they be of an individual or group nature. Safety is, however, one of the easiest areas to overlook or become complacent about. By establishing the Safety Committee, the Club is committed to bringing safety to the forefront of all activities and where safety related issues and / or concerns arise, they be dealt with in a fair, consistent and impartial manner.

Membership

The structure of the Safety Committee includes the Director of Flight Operations, as the Chairman, with approximately six additional members. The Club CFI is automatically a member.

Membership is open to all Club Members in good standing.
